Please use the on-off tester; some transceiver has two RJ45 ports: (To HUB) indicates that the connection line of the connecting switch is a straight line; (To Node) indicates that the connection line of the switch is a cross line; some of the sender side has a MPR switch: Indicates that the connection line of the connection switch is a straight line mode; DTE switch: connecting the connecting line of the switch is a cross line mode。

The luminous power of an optical transceiver or optical module under normal conditions:multimode:Multimode: between -10db--18db;Single mode 20 km:between -8db--15db;Single mode 60 km:between -5db--12db;If the light power in the fiber transceiver is between: -30db--45db,then you can determine the transceiver has a problem.
Third, the half / full duplex mode is wrong or not
Some transceivers have FDX switch on the side: full duplex HDX switch: half duplex
Fourth, optical fiber and optical fiber jumper has been broken or not
